Breaking News: Men have a hard time listening to women!

C'mon, they actually needed to do a study to come to this conclusion?

Apparently, men have to use a special part of their brain to figure out what the hell women are saying.

Men deciphered female voices using the auditory part of the brain that processes music, while male voices engaged a simpler mechanism, it said.

The Mail quoted researcher Michael Hunter as saying, "The female voice is actually more complex than the male voice, due to differences in the size and shape of the vocal cords and larynx between men and women, and also due to women having greater natural 'melody' in their voices.

"This causes a more complex range of sound frequencies than in a male voice."

Ladies, don't take this the wrong way. But it's a whole heck of a lot more likely the problem is that unless women are talking about sports, food, bodily functions or sex men are too busy exerting all their mental energy just trying to pay attention to whatever you're saying much less understand it.

No need to think of us as more complicated than we really are.
